During my field experience, I was able to show my cooperating teacher a few of the content areas presented on my wiki. These content areas included Reading, Language Arts, and Science. My cooperating teacher loved the wiki. She thought that this was a great way to promote learning outside of school. She also thought that this was a wonderful way of keeping parents informed about what their children are learning within the classroom as well as providing opportunities for parents to work with their children on school assignments.
Responses from students to the wiki implementation:
During my field experience, I was able to work with a student who just moved to the United States from Columbia. While working with this student, I had him access the wiki I created and work on various activities that reinforced language development. Once he completed a few tasks, I asked him what he thought of the wiki. The student said that he had fun and liked learning on the computer. I believe that students enjoy interactive learning that implements computer-based instruction.
Accommodations for students with diverse needs:
Throughout the seven content areas of this wiki, there are modifications incorporated into the home activities that benefit ESOL students. These modifications correlate to the main objective of the content area and help enrich learning for students. Most of the modifications were implemented to promote language fluency, understanding, and pronunciation among ESOL learners.

Every content area of this wiki incorporates critical thinking questions that benefit learning for students. Critical thinking questions promote cognitive development which expands student knowledge and understanding.
Assessment activities:
This wiki includes assessment activities for every content area. These assessments are based on the home activity provided in each content area and are collected on a weekly basis as a graded evaluation.
Changes based on outcomes from implementation:
Three aspects I would modify in my wiki would be related to the hands-on activities for the content areas. I would try to incorporate more computer-based instruction that requires students to complete games on the computer that correlate to the main objective. I would also incorporate more researched-based questions for the students to investigate. The final aspect I would modify on my wiki is the accommodations for diverse learners. Next time, I would try to incorporate more accommodations for ESE and ESOL learners.
